Four Rosmead Guest House
Client: Rosmead Boutique Guest House, Oranjezicht
Scope of works: Interior Design & Remodel of a garden cottage, office and pamper room into three new deluxe rooms en-suite. Re-upholstery and updates to existing rooms; new kitchen
Built in 1903, Four Rosmead is recognised for its historical value and has been sensitively and stylishly re-modelled to embody the styles: CAPE, CLASSIC, CONTEMPORARY.
These were our guiding principles when we undertook to structurally & decoratively convert the prior owner’s garden cottage and pamper room into new suites. To achieve this, we paired South African antiques and collectable art with elegant lighting, soft furnishings and contemporary fabrics that pulled a punch with colour & pattern.
Contemporary art, bold colour & fun pattern is continued through to the spacious and distinct bathrooms – each with a feature mosaic wall, perfectly harmonised with contemporary classic features.
Interiors are chic with a subtle, yet distinctive African spirit enhanced by original South African artwork. Each room is unique in its décor scheme & furniture, personality and flair; Landscaped gardens and a patio overlooking a pool deck contribute to an urban sanctuary that allows guests to relax and unwind.
