Client: Avonrust Circle, Noordhoek
Scope: Refurbishment. Bathroom Design. New colour scheme
The client wanted to modernize a rustic Farmhouse situated on gorgeous expansive ground, on a very tight budget. They aimed to up-cycle some sanitary ware & kitchen units while retaining character features of the house. Large sash windows and French doors were employed to flood the social spaces with light. We replaced carpets with white-washed timber flooring to bounce light off the praline-hued walls.
We were supplied with a basic footprint of the approved plans, and rearranged bathroom layouts for better flow, functionality and spaciousness. We sourced all finishes & designed the vanity units. We sprayed the Victorian baths to suit the kids’ chosen colour schemes.
“The heart of the house retains the charm, simplicity and warmth of a classic farmhouse, but now has a seamless connection between indoors and out and an updated crisp, clean palette to counterbalance the busy lifestyles of this energetic family.”
